Our goal is to provide you with a thorough and timely analysis based upon sound and accepted scientific and accident reconstruction principles within a reasonable degree of probability, on matters such as: crash dynamics, EDR analysis, low velocity incidents, crash fraud, mechanical failure analysis, vehicle speed, time and distance, commercial vehicle issues, MUTCD, vehicle autopsies, pedestrians, bicycles, motorcycles, snowmobiles, motorcycle training, aerial scene mapping, day and nighttime visibility issues, headlamp profiling, 3D Laser Scanning, forensic mapping, and trial demonstratives/chalks.
The Crash Lab, Inc. has been providing crash reconstruction analysis and services to the insurance and legal communities since 1990. From its inception by founder Gordon “Chip” Johnston (retired 2014) to today, our goal remains the same: to provide our clients with prompt, professional service and when warranted, the creation of a product that becomes an integral part of a strong litigation package and in many instances, eliminates the need for litigation entirely.
Our Accredited Crash Reconstructionist team is comprised of four retired state and local law enforcement officers with backgrounds in crash investigation, forensic scene mapping, damage analysis, and vehicle examinations, including commercial vehicles and crash data retrieval.
